Last year I had a chance to visit the famous “Alcatraz”, and shared my view here. Today I was surprised to read an article in the Telegraph about “The Rock”. The United States’ National Park Service is planning to convert part of the prison into a hotel. I wonder if it will be another Indian gaming casino… I hope not!
“…Overnight guests would not, however, sleep in the cell blocks that once housed notorious criminals such as Al Capone, George “Machine Gun” Kelly or “Birdman of Alcatraz” Robert Stroud.
