LED Architecture

LED ArchitectureLight-emitting diodes, or LEDs, are reinventing the look and feel of skylines, bridges, facades and other architectural surfaces around the globe. The light bulb is being unscrewed by energy-efficient LEDs that are both environmentally friendly and cost-effective. The $10.2 billion industry is growing to provide new design options for architects and planners. This Barcelona office, photo shown here by LedsMagazine.com, designed by theFrench architect Jean Nouvel, brings color 142 meters into city skyline. A total of 4,500 L3 RGB lights were installed to illuminate the 32 floors of offices in the Agbar tower. The lighting system, which contains 4,500 L3 RGB lights, is controlled from a single computer.

LEDs don’t just create awe-inspiring skylines, they also enhance moods and settings. At the Hollywood Bowl LED lights are used to “choreograph” the stage ethos. Using digital technology to adjust and control the effects they create. By marrying LED technology with intelligent controls and color science the Hollywood Bowl is able to take advantage of LED lights for the use of performing arts.

LEd becomes more and more popular in architecture as it save the power, also use the lower voltage which make more safety in working.

some people think it is the light poluution, but in my idea, we save the energy but also bright the city,it is really good thing in current situation .
