His work has been featured in the Virginia Tech Landscape Architecture Magazine and the Virginia Tech Landscape Architecture Student Design Competition. ## Introduction to Nicolas Nino Walder Nicolas Nino Walder is a dedicated and talented second-year student at Virginia Tech, majoring in landscape architecture.

I am originally from Caracas, Venezuela, but have lived in northern Virginia nearly my entire life. These two places greatly impact the way I view landscapes. On one hand, the perennial and annual must-haves in the mid-atlantic have incomparable, quaint beauty. On the other hand, the lush, tropical evergreens I witnessed from the moment I was born are singularities, not being able to survive, at least for long, elsewhere – elusive, fleeting beauty, when taken out of their homes. Besides landscape design and architecture, I also have a passion for graphic design. This and a creative desire led me to co-founding perennial studios llc with my brother, Luis. As a creative director and business director duo, we own the clothing brand perennial four, a brand that mixes botany and graphics to, what we would consider, perfection.
