The scheme aims to ensure the security of payments for e-bus procurement and operation, mitigating the risk of financial losses for PTAs. It will also promote the adoption of e-buses by providing financial assistance to PTAs. The scheme will be implemented in phases, with the first phase focusing on the procurement of 10,000 e-buses.
