This is a significant step towards achieving the vision of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas” (inclusive development for all) by bridging the gap between urban and rural areas. The scheme will focus on the construction of rural roads, connecting villages, hamlets, and other rural settlements. These roads will be designed to withstand harsh weather conditions, ensuring year-round accessibility for residents. The scheme will be implemented in phases, with a focus on prioritizing the most remote and inaccessible areas.

The scheme aims to ensure the security of payments for e-bus procurement and operation, mitigating the risk of financial losses for PTAs. It will also promote the adoption of e-buses by providing financial assistance to PTAs. The scheme will be implemented in phases, with the first phase focusing on the procurement of 10,000 e-buses.
